Dish Wash Soap made from Recycled Cooking Oil
We were very excited to launch in January 2010 our 100% biodegradable dish wash paste made from recycled cooking oil. Essential oil is used to provide a fresh fragrance for this very eco-friendly kitchen product, and we are packaging this together with a biodegradable kitchen loofah.
Our partner, the Stepping Stone Centre in Balik Pulau, Penang, provides a work place for people with special needs. By providing work for members with intellectual disabilities, the Centre provides a stepping-stone for improved economic independence and greater acceptance in the broader community.
The dish wash paste is made entirely from recycled cooking oil, which is simply saponified (converted into soap) with the addition of a strong alkali. 100% natural essential oil is then is added to provide the fragrance. After the soap has set, it is left to cure for about 30 days before being packaged. This dish wash paste has excellent cleaning properties, can be used in cold water, is long lasting, and 100% biodegradable.
We are very proud to have exported this product to Japan and the USA......quite an achievement for a group of rural based intellectually disabled!!!
Eco Friendly General Cleaning Liquid
Another product produced by our partner, the Stepping Stone Centre in Balik Pulau, Penang, and again produced from recycled cooking oil. This time we trained the members to saponify the recycled cooking oil to produce a liquid soap.
This product is a general eco friendly household cleaner suitable for all household cleaning purposes including dishes, pots & pans, floors, walls, tiles, and clothes. One of the most versatile all-purpose cleaners on the market. It’s non-toxic and biodegradable without any harmful chemicals or bleach.
We are selling this product to a number of hotels who were requiring eco friendly cleaning solutions, and they are using this product for all cleaning applications right up to the cleaning of their glassware in the bar area.
We launched this product on Earth Day 2012 and since then it has become a very popular product among environmentally concerned and health conscious households.
Eco Friendly Washing Powder
Made entirely from natural vegetable oils and does not contain any added chemicals or synthetic fragrances. We use the offcuts from different soap bars containing various blends of essential oils which produces a wonderful natural fragrance. This washing powder is suitable for delicate fabrics and baby clothes
