Improve Emotional Wellness – Daily Rituals

I created Indochine Natural to improve skin and hair care. At the same time you can improve emotional wellness with daily rituals. But you can do more for yourself. Try to make a conscious decision to slow down. Incorporate daily rituals into your life. This will provide you with stability on both a physical and emotional level. You will become more grounded. You will regain the ability to slow down. You will improve emotional wellness.

Some Daily Rituals to Try

Schedule some “do nothing time.” That’s what I said. Make a space in your diary to do nothing. And while you are at it, take a small reward. Your favourite coffee in a cozy coffee shop. And yes, turn off all those devices. You don’t want any interruptions.

Skip that hurried shower. Slow down in a bath. Take your time. Your muscles will relax and your mind unwind. Again, turn off those devices.

Attempt to single-task instead of multitasking. When you are trying to do ten things at the same time you are setting yourself up for mistakes. You’ll have to spend more time correcting them. Set up a “to-do” list. Focus on one task at a time. When that’s finished, move onto the next task.

Start a relaxing skincare ritual in the evening. For example, many customers find our all-natural Patchouli Lavender Face Wash very relaxing. This could be followed by our organic face oil . Again, a very relaxing fragrance formulation.

Establish a sleep ritual. Go to bed at the same time each night. Reading a book can help you relax. Establish other small rituals to signal that it is bedtime. For example, light a scented candle. A few drops of essential oil on your pillow will work wonders. Many suggest Lavender. But there are others that are more interesting and just as effective. Be daring, try a new fragrance. Go for evening walks in a park or along a beach. Leave your phone at home. Give your mind some peace.

Say to say “no” more often. Get out of the habit of agreeing to do things you don’t enjoy. You will feel liberated, and more at ease.

How to Make a Start to Improve Emotional Wellness

I’m not saying this is easy. I would suggest starting with one ritual. Get it established. Prove to yourself that I can do it. Then slowly add more.

When we slow down, we create space in our minds. We think more clearly. Make better decisions. And yes, feel and look better.
