For me, blending and creating new products is a combination of science and creativity with natural fragrance. I source the finest aromatic ingredients from around the world for one purpose. To produce products that allow our customers to experience the profound connections between our sense of smell and the emotions that drive us.
I am driven by scientific evidence. For example, a paper published in 2011 titled “Actions of essential oils on the central nervous system: An updated review.” This scientific paper summarizes the literature on this topic published in the period 2008–2010. The major actions of essential oils discussed are pain, anxiety, learning, memory, attention, arousal, relaxation, and sleep.
It’s a stressful world we live in. Thus, I am particularly interested in the anxiolytic action of certain essential oils and their natural fragrance. I use these for anxiety (fear, worry, and concern, and uneasiness). My creativity combines anxiolytic essential oils into skin and hair care products that are luxurious, moisturizing, protective, and restoring.
If you scan through Indochine Natural ingredients lists, you will find examples where I have used anxiolytic essential oils. These include Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), Orange (Citrus sinensis), Bergamot (Citrus bergamia), Lemon (Citrus limon), Clary sage (Salvia sclarea), and Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens). For Private Label customers, I have used Rose (Rosa damascena), Roman Chamomile (Anthemis nobilis).
It’s all in the fragrance. Escape the ordinary. Discover Indochine Natural.
